We
are happy to accept payments via the credit or debit cards providers
listed below.
There is no charge for a debit card, however there is a charge
of 2.5% for U.K. credit card transactions. A credit card protects
all your payments under Section 75 of the 1974 Consumer Credit
Act. Visa debit cards also offer the same protection under the
lesser known Visa 'charge back' scheme. If using a Mastercard,
there may be a requirement to register with Mastercard's SecureCode
services, an additional layer of online security. There is no
charge for a credit card from outside the U.K. and we are unable
to accept 'American Express' cards.
If you wish to make a deposit
payment by card, or full payment in the case of a late booking,
please check first that we are holding the property in your
name. We will advise you of the amount due, to include the credit
card charge if appropriate, plus a link to our payment
page. This page has a box for the amount, plus drop-down boxes
for the property name and arrival date. A 'Pay Now' link will
take you direct to the secure 'NetBanx' server, where you can
enter your card details. Therefore we have no knowledge of your
personal financial information, giving you maximum security
under data protection. If you are paying the balance by credit
card, on our payment page please
remember to add the 2.5% fee to the amount due, as stated in
our original confirmation letter.
