Two Holiday Homes for rent in the popular Costa del Sol resort of Nerja

How do we access our accommodation?
The keys are collected from one of our marked security boxes at the property.
When can we have access?
From 4pm (16.00) on the day of arrival. Early arrivals are usually able to leave suitcases,
subjest to the keys being available in our key security boxes.
When do we have to vacate?
By 10am on departure day. We can advise where to store suitcases, if you have a late flight.
If there is not a 'same-day' changeover, we are flexible about arrival and departure times.
Are linen and towels provided?
Yes, all linen, plus hand, bath and tea towels. Our bath towels are not large 'sunbed' towels for pool or beach use. We do not supply linen for cots, as a precaution against laundry chemicals.
Is electricity and air conditioning included?
Yes, no extra charges, except for a second cot, which costs £30.
Is there an iron and ironing board?
Yes, in both properties.
Is there a hairdryer?
Yes, there should be two in each property, either in the bathrooms or bedrooms.
Is there a washing machine?
Yes, plus a washing basket, pegs and a drying frame, in both properties.
Is there a dishwasher?
Yes, in both properties.
Is there TV in English?
Yes, but only by bringing your own Amazon 'Firestick' with a VPN and plugging it into the television. Both have DVD players.
Is the wireless broadband internet included?
Yes, both properties have an 'always on' 4G wireless router and we supply you beforehand with the network name and relevant password for your device.
Is there a cot and high chair?
We can supply one cot and high chair in both our properties at no additional charge, or bring your own travel cot. Second cot £30. The items we supply are 'all-purpose' and not tailored to the age or size of the infant. We do not supply cot linen, to avoid any risks from irritants in laundry cleaning materials. Not all our bedrooms are suitable, in terms of space and layout.
Are there extra safety features?
Both properties have a fire extinguisher, kitchen fire blanket, hand sanitiser dispenser, first aid kit, plus a combined smoke and carbon monoxide alarm. There is also fencing with secure gates separating the private pools from the dining areas of the terraces. The pool steps have handrails and a conveniently wall mounted lifebuoy ring. The Alamar townhouse has a baby gate at the top
of the stairs.
What's in the 'Welcome Pack'?
Usually the same items are supplied in both properties: bread, butter, milk, bottled water, fruit juice and wine, plus toilet rolls. It is likely there will also be pantry items left by previous guests, such as tea, coffee, sugar and condiments. Extra items available upon request, for a small charge.
How far is it to the nearest beach?
Three minutes from the Alamar Townhouse and about 7-10 minutes from Villa Mimosa.
Can I walk into the town centre?
It is a ten minute walk from our Alamar Townhouse t and about twenty minutes from Villa Mimosa.
Is there a supermarket nearby?
Yes, two large ones on the main road (old N340) and a smaller one down on the beach front.
Will I need a hire car which I can park?
Yes, if you intend to tour the area. Otherwise, you will not need one for local use if staying in our Alamar Townhouse. You might consider one if staying in Villa Mimosa and you are not keen on walking. There is ample free street parking, very adjacent to both our properties.
What are the taxi arrangements?
If you want a taxi arranged from Malaga Airport, we ask for your flight details, which we pass on to our Agent, who does the booking on your behalf, at a cost of £20 for the two-way journey. The driver waits in the arrivals hall holding a board with your name, then takes you straight to the property.. You pay the driver in Euros when you arrive and at the airport on your return journey.
Where is the nearest water park?
The nearest water park is 'Aqua Velis', at Velez-Malaga, about 20 minutes down the motorway from Nerja towards Malaga. Easily accessible from the A7 junction, opposite 'Eroski'.
Where is the nearest golf course?
The nearest course is 'Baviera', at Velez-Malaga (as above), next to the A7 motorway.
